Indoor Fun

I'm ready for some snow, at least that way it gets a little warmer out. We haven't been outside in about 8 days and the kiddos are going kinda stir crazy inside. I wish I could afford more things to put downstairs for our gross motor. Here's just a wish list I'm saving up for to buy for the daycare I might love Amazon just a little too much!!!

Check out the link

I was trying to have the kiddos make light bulbs with stamping a pop bottle to their papers but all I found was a creamer bottle and then it just looked silly so we had fun making different colored circles on paper.

We love to pretend play with baby dolls and stuffed animals. Brooks and Lea are having fun being mommy and daddies!

Just a reminder next Wednesday December 21st will be our Christmas party!

Working on fine motor and gross motor!

Being that it's so cold to go outside and play we try and come up with our own fun indoors. Here are the boys wrestling a bean bag chair and each other, don't worry it was friendly play! Our little sweet pea had occupied herself outside of that area away from our busy boys.

In the afternoon we sang the Santa Clause song goes something like this "who's got a beard that's long and white, Santa's got a beard that's long and white" I'm pretty sure it's a Raffi song. Then we went downstairs and glued cotton balls to Santa's beard. They had fun using the glue stick but not quite sure of the cotton balls sticking to their hands.

Christmas Colors

We had fun painting today we red and green finger paints! I showed them how to dip their Christmas bows in the paint and stamp with it. Most of them ended up filling up their whole papers with paint.

This afternoon we played one of our favorite games, I spy? with picture cards. I have them either show me, point to the cards or try and tell me what it is. The more cards they get right the more cards I add to their groups. They also get so proud of what they can accomplish, it's so much fun to watch them learn new vocabulary.

New Friends!

We welcomed a new friend today, the boys couldn't leave her alone they gave her lots of hugs and kisses!!!

This morning we stayed inside because a few of them having been coughing quite a bit, I didn't want to chance them getting more sick. So we stayed inside and had some sticker fun. They were quite proud of their finished ornaments. They all kept pointing to them throughout the day.

I was honestly dreading lunch today and I stripped them down to their diapers because toddlers usually with spaghetti ends up really messy, I was very surprised that there wasn't much on the floor to clean up. I really encouraged them to use their forks and spoons and not to eat with their hands. They really tried to get their noodles on that fork!

Just elfing around!

Every year I take elf hat pictures, I'm a little obsessed with picture taking so whenever I see a good moment I try and capture it. They all sat pretty well so it was pretty easy getting some good shots.

Lately our favorite things to play with have been giant purple bucket in the basement, our fishy game  where we work on sharing and fine motor, and dancing to Christmas music...

This morning we got to venture out into what was left of the snowfall. I showed the boys how to throw snow, and they kept chasing me all over the backyard to get me and just laugh and laugh.
